Senior Project Manager - 4636
Job Location: Bay Area, California
Job Description
• Act as internal POC for assigned projects, including set-up and running meetings, recording and distributing actions, flagging and communicating risks. • Lead small to medium-sized projects with budgets likely under $500K and teams of 10 or fewer, with direction from the Associate Program Director or above. • Collaborate to ensure the work stays on brief, client needs and feedback are understood and addressed, and the work delivered is of high quality. • Communicate day-to-day with clients on project intake, status, and updates and facilitate conversations for clarity of feedback/setting of expectations. • Work through dependencies and decisions required with internal teams and third parties. • Identify and act on organic account growth opportunities in partnership with Client Services. • Perform analysis and report on project health, attend finance meetings to inform account health (Metrics include Remaining forecast, forecast to completion, burn (actuals) to date, % project progress, % budget utilized) • Participate o as a champion of project management fundamentals across all assigned projects, across timelines, action logs, change logs, risk logs, appropriate kick-off, and closure processes o in project retrospective and sunsetting processes to take learnings forward within account group in sharing with and influencing others, cross-disciplinary, and across accounts in global Project Delivery initiatives and brings forward ideas on how to improve processes and build community within the discipline.
Qualifications
• English Proficiency (B2+/C1 reading, writing, and conversation) • 5+ years of experience managing various digital project types: site builds, e-commerce, marketing campaigns, microsites, and maintenance. • A track record for successfully managing a discipline or large projects. • Mastery of Project Management Methodologies, PMI Process Groups, AGILE Development, and Risk Management. • Expert experience in project finance, pipeline planning, forecasting, road mapping, and leadership. • Resource management within the Solution Delivery team, including balancing priorities, timelines, mix, and casting while understanding and supporting the objectives and motivations of every discipline. • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple stakeholders. • Proven ability to work on large-scale digital projects. • Proven ability to develop and implement processes to ensure high-quality deliverables for the client. • Proven acumen, negotiation skills, and proven ability to interact with Senior-level employees. • Mastery of office productivity tools such as Excel, Word, MS Project, Smartsheet, Visio, and PowerPoint. • Mastery of collaboration and issue-tracking tools such as Box, Jira, and Confluence. • PMP designation, SCRUM Master, Six Sigma is a nice to have. • Master’s degree in management, project management, business, or related field; many obtain master's degree or post-bachelor's certificate and professional credentials or equivalent strong experience as Project Manager in exact areas of expertise required for Hangar (Digital Agencies projects, Web development project, SCRUM/Agile Software projects) is a nice to have.
