Senior Technical Writer

Job Description

• Establish a content strategy and process for our knowledge base and developer docs, informed by data and insights you’ve gathered across the business • Gather information from subject matter experts and translate complex concepts into simple, polished, and engaging product documentation • Create content that helps both business and technical users be successful, grounded in a strong grasp of the customer value proposition, use cases, and underlying technology • Routinely review various reports, analytics, and user research to continuously improve the documentation’s effectiveness and ensure it meets our audience’s needs • Collaborate with other writers on the content team to help define and improve writing styles, standards, and processes

Qualifications

• Superb written communication skills with an outstanding level of attention to detail and extremely high quality standards • Excellent content planning and organization skills • Proven ability to quickly learn, understand, and communicate highly technical concepts • A strong understanding of AI/ML and/or search technology • Previous experience in ecommerce • A collaborative mindset, drive to create and improve processes, and willingness to support team members on their projects as needed • Ability to think, plan, and execute on multiple projects simultaneously • 3+ years of experience as an effective technical writer in a B2B SaaS startup environment
