Energy Storage Project Developer

Job Description

• Originate and develop energy storage projects • Manage project schedules and budgets • Interact with utilities, customers, landowners, and prospects • Evaluate site-related due diligence • Support internal finance, legal, technical, and construction teams • Manage project-specific external consultants • Identify, manage, and resolve real estate issues • Stay updated with the storage market and evaluate potential value for projects • Travel as needed; evening and weekend work required

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant renewable energy project development or power industry experience • Experience developing projects from inception through investment decision • Ability to cultivate and manage relationships with various stakeholders • Bachelor's degree in related field • Experience growing out a pipeline of projects in a new market preferred • Experience with battery storage technologies preferred • Commitment to Nexamp's mission • Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information and ideas • Initiative to make improvements to work, processes, products, and services • Ability to analyze data, identify root causes of problems, and present creative solutions • Expertise in building internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders
