Senior Salesforce Developer

Job Description

• Assist the client in developing various modules and dashboards within the Salesforce platform • Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions within the Salesforce platform • Develop Salesforce dashboards and reports • Integrate with on-premise and cloud-based systems using Salesforce and third-party APIs • Proactively identify areas of improvement and functional gaps in Salesforce applications • Provide regular updates on development and configuration-based activities to contract and client leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree • Detailed understanding of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Project) and their features/functions • Salesforce Developer certification • Detailed understanding of the following: - Fundamental object-oriented programming concepts - Experience being a Salesforce admin and developer - Experience setting up Milestone PM+ for Salesforce - MVC style of designing - Data management, modeling - Visualforce and Apex fundamentals - Lightning framework - Developer console - Web services, SQL, SOQL, Salesforce Object Query Language • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills • Detailed understanding IT System Development Life Cycle, Agile, or SAFe concepts • Possesses a solid understanding of IT architecture concepts • Ability to interface well with end-users and senior client stakeholders • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative virtual environment • Detail-oriented consulting approach, with client service focus • Self-starter able to work independently and within a team
