Senior Accountant

Job Description

• The Senior Accountant is a critical part of our fast-growing accounting team and plays a crucial role in supporting the daily accounting operations and objectives. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will play a critical role in the full cycle closing process, including preparing and posting journal entries, completing account reconciliations, and performing analyses to ensure accuracy in our GL. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and help remediate accounting issues. You will also support annual audits, internal reporting, and other compliance measures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related degree and 3+ years of relevant experience (CPA a plus) • Big 4 experience is a plus • Solid understanding of US GAAP. • Work in a fast-paced environment, balancing monthly responsibilities and multiple projects. • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, able to work cross-functionally and drive accounting led projects. • Demonstrated successful track record in the hands-on work of accounting, including month-end closings, audits, schedule preparation, account reconciliations and variance analysis. • Desire to continuously learn and pick up new areas, the role will have exposure to all areas of accounting so understanding of accounting is key for success. • NetSuite experience preferred but not required. • Excellent Excel skills (maintaining complex spreadsheets and employing complex formulas)
