Strategic Finance Manager

Job Description

• Partner with leadership to develop our long-term strategic plan, identifying key initiatives and setting ambitious financial targets • Build the Financial Planning and Analysis organization from the ground up; champion the execution of our strategy across various departments, ensuring alignment and progress • Foster strong business partnerships, focusing on financial forecasts and operational targets • Dive deep complex commercial questions, conduct ad-hoc analyses, and evaluate new market opportunities • Approach challenges head-on with a data-driven mindset, owning projects from problem definition to actionable recommendations • Identify trends and assess potential risks and opportunities associated with our current and future products, customers, and geographic expansion • Explore opportunities in adjacent markets, uncovering potential new ventures for Hayden • Collaborate on the creation of presentations – from weekly leadership updates to board materials

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or strategic finance, ideally within a technology-focused startup environment • You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and relish the opportunity to build processes and structure where needed • You possess exceptional financial modeling skills and can translate ideas into concrete plans using strong analytical frameworks • Excellent written and verbal communication are a must. You can confidently craft compelling presentations, draft internal communications, and review legal documents as required • Strong interpersonal skills are key to building trust and collaboration with our executive team
