Job Description

• We're seeking a results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team and expand our reach within the parking industry. You'll identify new markets and customers, develop strategic sales plans, and close deals with parking authorities and city DOTs. • Identify and secure contracts with government agencies including parking authorities, Departments of Transportation, Transit Agencies and Public Work. Leverage proven experience navigating government procurement processes. • Create data-driven proposals that address the specific needs and budget constraints of government agencies. Translate the value proposition of your solutions into clear benefits for public infrastructure. • Secure contracts that meet the needs of both your company and government clients through effective negotiation. Ensure compliance with all regulations and procurement procedures. • Stay ahead of trends and competitor activity within the public sector mobility space through in-depth market research. • Analyze the evolving needs of government agencies and identify opportunities to tailor your solutions for maximum impact within the public sector mobility space. • Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers within government agencies. Foster a collaborative environment and prioritize building trust through clear and transparent communication. • Deliver clear, concise sales reports and forecasts that keep leadership informed on public sector sales performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field • 5+ years of proven track record and success in business development or sales, preferably with a focus on mobility and experience selling into government entities • Strong understanding of market research, persuasive sales techniques, and effective negotiation strategies • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect and build rapport with diverse stakeholders in the public sector • Thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed • Proficiency in Hubspot and other relevant sales tools (a plus) • Willingness to travel occasionally to meet with potential government clients
