Engineering Manager, Cloud

Job Description

• As our team scales, we're seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to join our Cloud Engineering Leadership. You'll lead a team of talented software engineers who are responsible for a critical collection of cloud applications and services that power Hayden's products.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 recent years in front-line management. • Expertise in Golang or Python. • A strong understanding of distributed systems, databases (PostgreSQL), and event-driven programming (Kafka, SQS, SNS). • Exposure to frontend development technologies (e.g., React). • Experience with AWS/cloud technologies (Terraform, EKS/K8s, S3, EC2, Cognito, RDS, etc.) (a plus). • Strong people skills: empathy, conflict resolution, mentorship, and team building.
