Retail Operations Analyst

Job Description

• Manage and execute day-to-day back office operations activities • Analyze retail operations data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement • Develop and implement strategies to optimize retail processes, enhance efficiency, and drive cost savings • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and improve operational performance • Support special projects and initiatives to drive business growth and operational excellence • Assist with regulatory reporting and research in all markets staying abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies • Collaborate with and respond to ad hoc requests within the organization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field. Advanced degree preferred • 2+ years of experience in retail operations, data analysis, or related field. Experience in the energy industry or with regulated entities within ERCOT is a plus • High level of detail orientation and accuracy with a focus on quality and precision in analysis and reporting • Proven ability to think and act strategically, prioritize tasks, and drive results in a fast-paced environment • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence decision-making • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, or similar tools. Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus • Passion for innovation, continuous learning, and driving positive change in the retail energy industry
