Senior Data Scientist

Job Description

• Optimize the energy devices connected to our platform toward a variety of goals like cost, cleanliness, and reliability • Simulate hypotheticals and counterfactuals to inform product and business decision making • Collaborate as an embedded Data Scientist with high-ownership teams of engineers, designers, product managers and subject-matter experts • Conceive of, explore, prototype and build solutions that drive automated decision making • Distill and communicate findings and recommendations to a wide range of stakeholders • Build the approach to and culture of data science and data more broadly

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in quantitative fields such as Operations Research or Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience (6+ years) • Fluency in Python or R, and advanced data analysis in SQL • Expertise in algorithm design, engineering, and implementation • Experience collaborating directly with software engineers
