Fund Accountant

Job Description

• Fund accounting and financial statement preparation • Tax compliance and strategy • Maintain margin at counterparties • Participate in audits and tax compliance • Prepare regulatory filings • Coordinate with prime brokers, auditors, and administrators • Provide financial data for third parties • Lead projects to improve efficiencies

Qualifications

• 4 - 6 years accounting experience • Preferably at a top-tier public accounting firm • Excellent problem-solving and research skills • Excellent verbal and written communication • Strong organizational and execution skills • Highly-proficient in Excel • Knowledge of Geneva or similar accounting system
