Community Trust and Safety Operations Manager

Job Description

• Manage global moderation operations team, including overseeing staffing plans, training, hiring needs, quality assurance, and building + maintaining standard operating procedures. • Maintain Peloton’s User Generated Content (UGC) Policy; partner with cross functional teams to build and maintain moderation policies that factor in product capabilities, legal risks, and brand safety. • Address difficult content moderation issues, balancing the safety and expression needs of our community, and operational challenges. • At Peloton, we put Members first, so this role may experience irregular work hours to handle safety-related escalations on our service, including weekends. • Cross-functional leadership; collaborate across different departments and provide leadership to ensure there is alignment between teams, regulations, processes, and systems. • Make hiring and vendor management decisions.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience with user content moderation • 2-3+ years of management experience • 2+ years of experience collecting, synthesizing, analyzing and visualizing complex sources of data • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with cross functional stakeholders • Exceptional attention to detail, outstanding time management, communication and organization skills • A continuous improvement mindset • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure • Existing experience with content moderation systems like TwoHat/Community Sift
