DevSecOps Engineer

Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced and motivated DevSecOps Engineer to join our team • The ideal candidate will play a critical role in integrating security practices into our DevOps processes, ensuring the security and reliability of our software, production, and corporate infrastructure • Collaborate with software engineers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and CI/CD pipelines • Implement and maintain security controls, tools, and processes to protect our production and corporate infrastructure against cyber threats and vulnerabilities • Perform security assessments, code reviews, and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate security risks in software applications and infrastructure components • Develop and maintain security automation scripts and tools to streamline security operations and incident response processes • Monitor and analyze security logs, alerts, and incidents to detect and respond to security threats and breaches in a timely manner • Conduct security training and awareness programs for development and operations teams to promote security awareness and best practices • Stay updated on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices in DevSecOps, cloud computing, and information security

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, Information Security, or related role • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) • Experience with security tools and technologies such as WAFs, IDS/IPS, SIEMs, vulnerability scanners, and security automation frameworks • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell • Hands-on experience with AWS and GCP • Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and security controls • Strong knowledge of information security principles, standards, and best practices • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team • Strong communication and collaboration skills
