Job Description

• Android Engineer role within The New York Times' App Experience team • Work with Native squad on native app experiences • Use a variety of tools including Kotlin, Jetpack Compose • Hybrid role based in New York City Headquarters • Reports to Engineering Manager, App Platforms

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-time experience as an Android Engineer • 2+ years of Android Kotlin experience including writing unit tests and UI • Experience working with Agile software development methodologies • Experience with coroutines, Jetpack Compose, UI that adapts to different screen sizes, RESTful APIs, and Benchmarking
