Associate Designer

Job Description

• The Associate Designer works closely with the design team to develop and create innovative and trend-forward designs for various apparel collections. • Assist in the creation of sketches, technical drawings, and tech packs • Participate in trend research and analysis • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including merchandising, production, and graphics • Attend and contribute to design meetings • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor analysis • Assist in sample management and coordinate with manufacturers • Support the design team in various design projects and tasks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design or a related field • Prior experience in a design role, preferably in the apparel industry • Proficient in design software such as Illustrator and Photoshop • Strong creative and conceptual skills • Excellent attention to detail • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines • Good communication and collaboration skills • Knowledge of garment construction and manufacturing processes
