Engineering Manager

Job Description

• Manage Independent Engineer and Owner’s Engineering teams • Manage technical designs, revisions, and energy models • Interpret incoming designs • Own energy models from acquisition through COD • Manage technical RFIs and responses • Interface with utilities & AHJs • Collaborate with Project Delivery team • Engage with external counterparties • Off-board projects to Asset Manager • Improve operations and technical business development • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 5-7 years’ experience in solar construction engineering and/or project management • Detailed understanding of energy modeling • Leadership skills • Organizational skills • Communication skills • Experience in reviewing Independent Engineering Reports, Agreements, and permits • Background in managing non-ministerial permitting • Basic understanding of SCADA systems and communication networks • Strong integrity, communication, and interpersonal skills • Problem-solving skills and entrepreneurial spirit
