Finance & Accounting Analyst

Job Description

• This role is a critical asset to our Finance team, tasked with operationalizing and executing our thoughtful financial strategy • You will manage AP/AR, expenses, financial reporting, and tax preparation, among other key reporting tasks that drive accountability across teams • You will also lead and ensure adherence to the organization-wide financial budget, tracking spending, reporting, and managing our team’s spending policies on a monthly basis • In this role, you will operate in an autonomous yet cross-functional environment, leveraging your sharp analytical mindset and tenacious problem-solving abilities • The ideal candidate is adept at navigating ambiguity, asking the right questions, interpreting data, and delivering accurate financial predictions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or similar fields • 3-6 years of experience in finance / accounting, with a focus on financial operations • Exemplary history of financial project management and strong data visualization skills • You have a passion for developing strong financial workflows and policies • You genuinely enjoy dissecting problems and diligently searching for errors with a fine-tooth comb • You have an appetite for automation and create a smoother, error-free workflow to optimize the financial engine • Experience working in early-stage startups is a plus • Located in the United States; preferably in San Francisco Bay Area

Benefits

• Salary Range: $86,000 - $125,000 Annually + Benefits + Equity (if applicable) + Bonus (if applicable) • Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, certifications or licenses, and specific work location.
