Scrum Master

Job Description

• Act as a knowledge leader and Agile advocate, guiding and coaching our development teams, product owners, and stakeholders in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum. • Facilitate Scrum events, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint retrospectives, ensuring efficient and effective collaboration among team members. • Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to define project goals, requirements, and priorities, while keeping a strong focus on delivering value to our customers and the institution. • Identify and address any impediments or roadblocks that hinder the team's progress, working closely with stakeholders to remove barriers and ensure a smooth development process. • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives, capturing feedback, and implementing actionable changes to enhance team performance and product quality. • Utilize your strong communication skills to ensure clear and transparent communication within the team and with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying potential risks early and proactively implementing mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Ability to think critically and solve problems. • Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to change.
