Product Manager, Gretsch

Job Description

• Lead the planning and execution of product strategies for the product line • Provide market analysis, product ideation, and lifecycle management • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Sales to develop and implement product features that align with customer needs and market trends • Manage the product roadmap, prioritize product enhancements, and coordinate with engineering teams to ensure timely and successful product releases • Create and manage product data setups, specifications, and marketing copy • Conduct competitive analysis and stay updated on industry trends to ensure Gretsch’s products lead the market in innovation, functionality, and design • Oversee the product lifecycle from concept to launch, including managing budgets, forecasting, and post-launch product evaluation • Act as the key product evangelist, representing Gretsch at industry events, in media interviews, and during customer interactions to promote product vision and benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field • Minimum of 5 years' experience in product management, preferably with musical instruments • Proven business acumen with demonstrable strength in quantitative analysis with strong Excel skills • Strong technical understanding of instrument design and manufacturing processes • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills, combined with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data, and industry trends • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex ideas to a diverse audience including senior management, external business partners, and customers • Passion for music and deep understanding of the needs and desires of musicians
