Director, Performance Management
Job Location: Manhattan, New York
Salary: $218,600 - $284,299 a year
Job Description
• Develop and execute a strategic performance management framework that aligns with the organization's goals, values, and culture • Lead the design and implementation of performance management processes, tools, and systems to optimize employee performance and development • Provide strategic guidance and coaching to senior leaders, managers, and HR Business Partners on performance management best practices, goal setting, and feedback techniques • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of performance management initiatives with other HR programs such as talent management, succession planning, and learning and development • Drive the adoption of continuous feedback and coaching practices to enhance employee engagement, development, and performance • Develop and deliver enablement programs and workshops to educate managers and employees on performance management concepts, tools, and processes • Conduct regular reviews and analysis of performance data and metrics to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement • Lead the design and implementation of performance appraisal and evaluation systems to ensure fairness, accuracy, and consistency • Partner with Operations and IT teams to leverage technology solutions for automating performance management processes and enhancing data analytics capabilities • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to performance management and recommend innovative approaches to enhance organizational effectiveness • Continuously enhance foundational structures while actively seeking innovative opportunities for advancement, with a focus on anticipating the evolving landscape of the Future of Work, including the integration of AI and other emerging technologies
Qualifications
• 8+ years of demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategic performance management initiatives in large, complex organizations • Strong leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and inspire others at all levels of the organization • Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities • Proven track record of driving change and innovation in performance management practices • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills • Ability to drive speed to execution, thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively • Commitment to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace culture
