Head of Finance

Job Description

• Lead annual planning, forecasting, and department budgeting • Iterate and improve the company operating model for scalability and best practices • Support investor relations, including quarterly reporting and potential fundraising efforts • Oversee investment of cash accounts and overall health of the balance sheet • Participate in headcount planning, including employee compensation • Manage customer invoicing, vendor payments, and employee expenses • Own financial tech stack and iterate on tooling for optimal efficiency • Coordinate the annual financial audit process with external parties • Set up state-level tax profiles and ensure ongoing tax compliance, as well as file annual state and federal tax returns

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field • 10+ years of experience in finance roles, with time spent in accounting or investment banking positions • Prior experience as VP/Senior Director of FP&A or Strategic Finance at Series C+ B2B SaaS start-up
