Senior Cost Accountant

Job Description

• Maintain standard costs for material, labor, and overhead in Netsuite • Record journal entries related to inventory and cost accounting • Review and approve material-related purchase orders • Perform account reconciliations for inventory and cost-related GL Accounts • Create reports with strategic recommendations based on financial analysis • Assist with managing inventory and cost accounting close • Lead complex cost projects • Cultivate a deep knowledge of inventory and cost • Partner with internal departments

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related area • 5-7 years of experience in Cost Accounting • Experience in Netsuite ERP • Experience with detailed cost accounting at a manufacturing company • Previous experience in a startup • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and pick up new skills • Self-starter and proactive personality • Able to follow through and deliver on responsibilities
