Senior Accountant

Job Description

• Work cross-functionally with Finance, Business, Operations, and Technology to prepare and streamline month-end close journals to solve for scale and future effortlessness. • Take ownership and accountability of cash and balance sheet reconciliations. • Lead, implement, and execute process improvement and control procedures to facilitate efficient and accurate month-end close. • Have a sense of urgency but maintain attention to detail while participating and representing the accounting team on strategic initiatives and special projects, prioritizing Market>Partner>DriveWealth>Self. • Provide support for financial statement audits and tax • Facilitate monthly liquidity and cash movements

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of progressive experience in month-end close process, review, and analysis • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or commensurate experience • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis • Financial services, broker-dealer, software, and Fintech experience desired • Experience in Netsuite, SAP, or Oracle • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment • Public accounting experience is a plus.
