Data Reporting Analyst (Finance)

Job Description

• Analyzing data to derive insights and drive informed business decisions • Providing recommendations tailored to business needs by understanding the operations of the business unit • Contributing to the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of business intelligence (BI) applications and tools • Maintaining user job aids related to data entry and data hygiene practices • Identifying areas for improved data quality and reporting performance, particularly regarding equity investments • Assisting in identifying, researching, and resolving technical issues related to BI applications and tools, including developing and implementing requirements for new features and enhancements • Gathering and analyzing data to produce reports for internal and external stakeholders • Collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure that reports meet business and regulatory requirements • Reviewing data and reports for accuracy and timeliness, providing insightful analysis and explanations of results

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field • Minimum of 2+ years of related experience • Technical proficiency in Python and Tableau / PowerBI, with exposure to AWS • Previous experience in a finance-related field with a solid understanding of financial products • Skills in data analysis interpretation, data visualization, process automation, programming, requirements analysis, data cleaning, dashboard creation, data acquisition, data manipulation, and data validation • Ability to work effectively surrounded by moderate home environment noise
