Senior Software Engineer (1707)

Job Description

• Responsible for developing high quality code and participating in testing and maintenance of code • Develop SaaS software and deploy into a cloud environment and apply pragmatic engineering approaches to deliver value to customers • Collaborate with Product Management, Design, Architecture, and other Engineers to estimate work, design scalable and performant solutions, and produce high quality production-grade software • Implement scalable and fault tolerant applications using cloud-based platforms • Design, develop, modify, implement, and support software components anywhere in the software stack • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the existing content supply portfolio of applications and services • Identify causes for software issues and provide technical solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field • Six (6) years of experience in the job offered, as a Software Engineer, or in a related occupation • Experience with Developing SaaS applications using Java technologies, Spring Boot, Hibernate; Building data streaming solutions utilizing event-driven architecture including Apache Kafka, Pulsar, RabbitMQ; Building microservice RESTful APIs using CQRS, Saga architecture patterns; Utilizing data analysis and processing (SQL and Database Query Tuning); Developing fault tolerant and scalable systems; Implementing security practices in software development (OAuth2, JWT, or SSL/TLS); Writing SaaS software; DevOps practices and experience in building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Github, and Ansible; Utilizing SCRUM and Agile methodologies.
