Lead Data Scientist - Replenishment Optimization

Job Description

• Responsible for refactoring the Distribution Optimization algorithm using Object Oriented Programming • Work on the latest applications of data science in the Supply chain and optimization space • Utilize advanced statistical techniques to analyze large datasets • Develop and implement predictive models and optimization algorithms for inventory management • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate into data-driven solutions • Monitor and analyze KPIs related to replenishment and supply chain allocation • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices • Collaborate, coach and learn with a growing team of experienced Data Scientists

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field • 6+ years working as a Data Scientist with a focus on replenishment optimization and inventory allocation • Solid understanding of statistical methods, optimization techniques, and predictive modeling concepts • Strong proficiency in Python, Pyspark, and SQL • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
