Senior Behavioral Science Project Manager

Salary: $104,000 - $143,000 a year
Job Description
• The position of Senior Behavioral Science Project Manager will work closely with the Behavioral Science leadership, Project Leads, and contract research organizations to manage the planning and execution of behavioral research studies • Roles and responsibilities include providing support to the implementation of the behavioral research plan for regulatory filings and specific project coordination, development of research materials and document management, data quality assurance, coordination of procurement and shipping of study products used for investigational research, support manuscript and presentation preparation, coordination of IRB submissions, and participation in team, department and cross-JUUL research project meetings • This person will be expected to engage with cross-functional stakeholders, such as innovation, product and program on both the hardware and software sides of the business • Specific duties will be assigned based on team needs and the candidate’s experience and skills • The ideal candidate will have a strong background and significant experience in public health research, such as tobacco control and chronic disease, substantial experience/training in appropriate research methodologies, experience working with CROs and vendor management, attention to detail, strong timeline management and organizational skills, demonstrated project coordination and communication skills in fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities, outstanding writing skills, experience working in behavioral, health or epidemiological settings to support regulatory applications, and a track record of leading key deliverables of projects successfully
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in science-related field (e.g., Public Health, Statistics, Epidemiology) with 4-10 years applicable experience, or Master’s degree/PhD • Education/training/experience in Behavioral and/or Population health research methodologies including quantitative approaches and survey design • Experience supporting peer-reviewed publications and scientific presentations • Sound understanding of statistical analysis and interpreting statistical outputs and results (preferred) • Excellence and leadership in project management/coordination • Working effectively with multidisciplinary teams • Experience with Powerpoint, Excel, and Word
