Quality Engineer

Job Description

• Manage records keeping and document package collation for all forms of documentation and reporting pertaining to aircraft conformity (quality records) • Maintain the conformity inspection schedule for parts, kits, documentation, and test articles • Assist with coordinating operations of Designated Airworthiness Representatives (DARs) and Designated Engineering Representatives (DERs) to complete inspections and paperwork • Support our VP of Certification with regards to responding to data requests made by the FAA • Collaborate with cross functional partners within the organization such as Supply Chain, Program Management, Manufacturing, and more. • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with supplier/quality documentation or schedule management • Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering discipline • Experience working in a startup environment • Experience in Aerospace Quality Management, or other related field • Project or office management experience
