Intern, Facilities and Engineering - Maintenance Specialist

Job Description

• Neogene Therapeutics is seeking a highly motivated individual in the fields of engineering to join the Summer Internship Program for 29 hours per week! • The Maintenance Specialist Intern is responsible for working with the Facilities & Engineering teams to help perform data entry of Process, Lab, and Facility Equipment into Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and learn about Asset Lifecycle. • This internship is based in Santa Monica, CA office and reports to the Sr. Director of Facilities & Engineering. • Job assignments are usually for the summer for short periods during breaks from school.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years or older • Must be eligible to work in the United States without work authorization sponsorship now or in the future • Must have completed at least one year of study at an accredited university/college prior to internship commencing • Must be enrolled in a technical degree with hands-on repair experience • Proficiency with MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, & Teams • Detail oriented & Ability to follow directions • Basic working knowledge of mechanical & electrical terminology
