Retirement Plan Administration - Discontinuance Specialist

Job Description

• Year-end testing for DC plans that are in plan termination status • 5500s for DC plans in plan termination status (EZ, SF, and large) • Answer questions from the client service team on retirement plan subjects • Assist with EPCRS corrections for plans in termination status • Prepare and provide reporting for plans in a termination status • Prepare documentation for the withdrawals team to distribute assets • Provide notices to plan participants regarding the plan termination • Prepare plan termination amendment for sponsor • Coordinate with the billing department regarding the final invoicing of terminating plans • Provide consulting services to sponsors and advisors as needed • Stay up to date with plan termination rules and regulations

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in the retirement industry working on plan administration • Excellent written & oral communication skills • Meticulous attention to detail & organization • Passion for helping people • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & G suite • Proven ability to think analytically & operate independently within set deadlines • Team player • Shows ownership and initiative in all aspects of work • QKA certifications, preferred • FT Williams experience, preferred
