Staff Accountant

Job Description

• This role will be an early accounting and financial operations hire that will have a good deal of influence in creating and improving the company’s policies & procedures • Support in the validation of financial data and transaction coding, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense reporting, and logging cash activity within the general ledger • Collaborate with other teams to gather, analyze, and interpret financial statement data

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of accounting experience; Big 4 experience a plus • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other finance-related field • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • CPA or CPA candidate a plus • Able to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment • Strong attention to detail • Extensive familiarity with excel and core formulas (vlookup, sumifs) • Vocal of process areas to improve, never satisfied with the status quo • Helpful with a team-player mentality
