Engineering Manager, Mobile Foundation

Job Description

• We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Mobile Foundation team. As the Engineering Manager, you’ll help ensure that SeatGeek has the best live events apps in the world. • You’ll lead the Mobile Foundation team that builds industry-leading native mobile experiences for fans and helps uplevel mobile engineering across SeatGeek. From new functionality, to application architecture, to release process, to observability, you’ll have a large area of ownership across both native mobile platforms. You’ll be a critical leader in taking SeatGeek’s mobile apps to an even higher level.

Qualifications

• Excellent strategic mind able to set technical direction across native mobile engineering at SeatGeek • 6+ years as an engineer in a role that was mostly about writing mobile code (either Android or iOS) • 2+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager of high caliber, motivated native mobile teams • Irreproachable technical skills, and your team should look up to you as a mentor • Knowledge of industry technology trends so you can help your team make good tooling and framework decisions by setting them up for success across both platforms • An understanding of how to lead by setting context and facilitating collaboration between product, design, engineering and business leaders • Experience owning an entire high-quality consumer-facing application (either iOS or Android), including release, vendor, and platform management
