Social Media Content Creator, Video

Job Description

• Drive the direction and production of educational and social video content • Represent the GlossGenius brand, by hosting video content and speaking directly to the audience • Articulate the storyboard and creative vision for social video content • Write scripts for social videos that can be leveraged across channels, featuring a variety of topics (educational, product-based, trend-based, and more). • Drive engagement and build awareness and loyalty for the GlossGenius brand by highlighting how the GlossGenius product solves everyday customer challenges

Qualifications

• 3+ years dedicated experience in social media • Proven success growing personal or brand audiences across various social media platforms with video content • Experience with end-to-end video content creation for social media (idea generation, scripting, content creation, shooting, and editing the videos) • A passion for social media and deep understanding of the digital marketing landscape • A passion for the beauty and wellness industry (particularly salon and spa businesses) and articulating how software products can help solve their operational challenges • Creative thinker who can adopt & expand on brand guidelines to become a strong representative of the GlossGenius brand to our audience • On-camera & social video-editing experience (in-app content creation tools, CapCut, etc.) a must; video-editing experience a plus (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects)
