Staff Data Scientist | Product

Job Description

• We’re looking for someone to help lead the future of data science at Ramp. In this role, you will help define the product and operational roadmaps for how Ramp users onboard and activate. You will partner closely in Ramp’s development process through product ideation, experimental design, implementation, execution, and analysis. You will partner closely with Ramp’s operational teams to improve internal processes, build playbooks, and recommend actions. Ultimately, we will depend on you to improve the Ramp customer journey by leveraging your advanced analytics skills and business context, enabling us to get 1% better every day.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Math, Economics, Bioinformatics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or other quantitative fields with a minimum of 8 years of industry experience as a Data Scientist • Strong python experience (numPy, pandas, sklearn, etc.) across exploratory data analysis, predictive modeling, and applications of ML techniques to business problems • Strong knowledge of SQL (preferably Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery) • Proven leadership and a track record of shipping improvements with growth and product organizations • Strong perspective on the experimentation lifecycle (hypothesis generation, experimental design, implementation, statistical analysis, A/B testing best practices) • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly improving, start-up environment that focuses on solving problems with iterative technical solutions
