Application Developer
Job Location: Remote
Salary: $88,000 a year
Job Description
• Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver robust software solutions that drive the growth and efficiency of the company's portfolio. • Gain deep expertise in the company's application ecosystem, including the Loan Origination platform, to architect, configure, and implement scalable solutions aligned with business requirements and industry best practices. • Lead the development and enhancement of interactive user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) on critical application platforms, partnering closely with Product Owners to ensure a seamless and intuitive end-user experience. • Implement and maintain automated testing processes and frameworks to ensure software quality and reliability throughout the development lifecycle. • Participate in rotational on-call support activities during weekends and holidays, providing timely response and resolution to critical system issues and emergencies. • Collaborate with the engineering team on rotational deployment activities, ensuring smooth and efficient deployment of software releases and updates across production environments. • Take ownership of assigned projects, demonstrating increased accountability and autonomy in project planning, execution, and delivery. • Independently troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, leveraging strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of application architecture and technologies. • Mentor interns, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the engineering team. • Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, contributing to the evolution of the company's technical roadmap and innovation initiatives.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field • 1+ year of applicable work experience and/or relevant internship experience • Experience with Java or Python • Exposure to OOD/OOP, data structures, and algorithm analysis • Strong problem-solving skills • Exposure to designing, developing and testing large, scalable, complex systems • Ability to learn new technologies and frameworks • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
