VP, Engineering
Job Location: Manhattan, New York
Salary: $215,000 - $270,000 a year
Job Description
• Lead and mentor a diverse team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning • Ensure optimal resource assignments on a daily and weekly basis to maximize the productivity and output of the engineering team • Define and communicate a clear technical vision, driving architectural decisions and ensuring alignment with long-term goals • Work closely with product management, design, and other stakeholders to prioritize features, resolve technical challenges, and drive product innovation • Champion agile methodologies and best practices, fostering a culture of agility, adaptability, and continuous improvement • Set clear goals and KPIs for the engineering team, tracking performance and providing regular feedback to drive accountability and growth
Qualifications
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in senior engineering leadership roles, preferably in the marketing technology or SaaS industry • Proven track record of leadership in software engineering, with deep expertise in building scalable, high-performance SaaS platforms • Strong technical acumen and proven expertise in engineering principles, methodologies, and best practices, essential for guiding and collaborating with cross-functional teams towards innovative technical solutions • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire, mentor, and develop engineering teams • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Passion for technology and innovation, with a curiosity to explore emerging trends and technologies in the marketing technology space and the rapidly evolving AI landscape • Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and drive innovation • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, trust, and transparency • Strong focus on results and delivery, with a commitment to excellence and a drive to exceed customer expectations
