Vice President, Product Marketing

Job Description

• Responsible for leading the Product Marketing function and team at Gong • Developing go-to-market strategies and equipping customer-facing teams with everything they need to win the market • Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer • Fostering relationships with Product leadership and maintaining deep understanding of current product and plans • Equipping sales teams with messaging, sales strategies, materials, tools, and market knowledge • Optimizing pricing and packaging • Leading Analyst Relations program • Crafting content strategy for buyer's journey • Building thought leadership through event presentations and articles • Ensuring partners are equipped to sell Gong effectively • Gathering and responding to competitive intelligence

Qualifications

• 15+ years of product marketing experience in B2B enterprise software (SaaS experience preferred) with a strong, demonstrable focus on compelling, differentiated, and provocative messaging and positioning • Proven success building, developing and leading PMM teams of 50 or more • Ideally, experience at a company with ARR > $500M • Passionate about providing an exceptional customer experience • Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, and well-organized • A strong team player but still a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth start-up environment • A self-driven, high energy leader with excellent cross functional collaboration skills • Someone who flourishes when given responsibility and a sense of ownership
