Compliance Officer

Job Description

• Manage Risk Review, Monitoring, and Exams team • Identify and evaluate key compliance risks across business lines • Drive planning of Compliance program and policies • Manage regulatory exams and inspections • Oversee compliance due diligence activities and investor workstreams • Supporting wider compliance department with various activities • Employment base in New York City

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree • 5-7 years’ experience in regulatory compliance at a Hedge Fund • Successfully managing SEC RIA examinations, NFA examinations, or similar regulatory inspections • Prior team management experience • Highly self-motivated, organized, and attentive to detail • Structured, methodical and consistent in execution • Adaptable and open to change, a natural problem solver and lateral thinker • Calm and concise communicator, collaborative and engaging with staff of varying roles and seniority • Firm and team-first in thinking • PowerPoint and other presentation materials creation skills • An auditing, operational risk or similar background

Benefits

• Expected base pay range $130,000 - $160,000 • Performance bonus potential • Competitive benefits package
