Assistant Account Executive, Purpose & Impact
Job Location: Manhattan, New York
Job Description
• Have a baseline understanding of the key material topics that are relevant to your clients, their performance on these topics compared to their peers and broader environmental, social and governance trends. • Conduct deskside research across a wide range of ESG topics, synthesize findings and use them to make informed recommendations on a client’s strategy or communications plan. • Play a key role in day-to-day client relations and account management. • Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans for clients and communicate them with supporting recommendations and substantive logic. • Commit to ongoing learning and education by reading relevant content, watching trends, identifying and participating in webinars, etc.; share learnings with team members. • Foster and maintain relationships with client contacts and internal agency partners. • Commit to continuous learning and improvement of leadership skills; set and pursue stretch goals. • Contribute to new business process.
Qualifications
• 1 to 2 years of experience; agency experience strongly preferred. • Experience and/or subject-matter expertise in strategy and communications around ESG, Sustainability and/or Social Impact is a must. • A willingness to learn on the fly, conduct your own research and be exceptionally resourceful to keep up with the ever-changing nature of the space. • A finger on the pulse of the evolving best practices in communicating around ESG, sustainability, social impact and causes. • Experience in client and account management. • Ability to create and activate ESG/purpose communications programs including internal and external communications. • Excellent writing skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, experience developing and delivering client presentations. • Collaborative spirit and a desire to be a part of a fast-growing practice. • Results-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work against deadlines. • Personal/professional values that align with Zeno Group’s values: fearless, collaborative, entrepreneurial, kind, ambitious, inclusive.
