Software Engineering Lead

Job Description

• Lead a team of 5+ engineers at different points in their career • Work across engineering, operations, and program management to deliver outsized results and guide the next generation of autonomous aircraft • Hire, mentor, and grow excellent engineers • Hold a high bar for engineering best practices • Help define the vision for our Fleet Applications in conjunction with your customers internally

Qualifications

• 9+ years experience in software engineering • 3+ years as an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role directly managing teams of 3+ engineers in a fast-paced environmentHands on technical leadership with a strong software engineering background • An understanding of backend or full stack development and microservice architecture • A track record of building and leading software teams focused on cloud applications • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership • Previous experience in autonomy, robotics, or hardware is nice to have but not required
