Product Designer - Design Systems

Job Description

• Lead the creation, maintenance, and evolution of our Design Systems, including design language, component library, and guidelines • Collaborate closely with engineers to design high-quality, enterprise-grade components and patterns in Figma, ensuring consistency with the overall Design Systems vision • Define and document UI components, patterns, and best practices, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and usability across teams • Drive the adoption of the Design Systems within the organization through education and documentation • Advocate for accessibility, inclusivity, and user-centered design principles throughout the design and development process • Conduct regular audits of existing designs and components to identify opportunities for optimization and standardization

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Product Designer with a focus on design systems • Strong portfolio demonstrating your contributions to design systems, including component libraries, style guides, and UI patterns • Experience with advanced prototyping tools (e.g. Principle, Framer, Sketch, Figma, InVision) • Solid understanding of design principles, typography, colorimetry, and interaction design • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale • A passion for design systems • Experience navigating ambiguous high-growth, fast-paced product-driven environments
