Manager, Commercial Lines Engineering

Job Description

• Lead and mentor a team of insurance product engineers • Facilitate engineering deployments for insurance product launches and maintenance • Coordinate with Project Management on deployment cadences • Perform and communicate data-based impact analysis • Provide support through corrective actions on remediations • Identify areas of workflow and process deficiencies • Foster collaborative problem-solving with cross-functional stakeholders • Ad hoc projects and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Products • Ability to work with cross-functional teams • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency in creating functional documentation • Interest in process automation • Experience leading, organizing, and executing work for a team • Experience with JIRA and workforce management software • Previous experience in the Insurance industry • Applied knowledge of SQL, TSQL, XML, HTML, JSON • Proficiency in C#, C++, Python, R • Proficiency in Visual Studio Code and GitLab
