SEO Associate (contract)

Job Description

• Assist in managing SEO agency by analyzing and feedbacking their recommendations • Work with internal cross functional partners to implement strategies, including: - Reviewing SEO briefs delivered by agency and compiling cross functional feedback on the briefs to streamline agency communications - Manage execution of workstreams, including workback timelines and status updates, for all SEO initiatives • Demonstrate value against all initiatives by providing feedback or insights to inform to SEO Manager • Active monitoring and sharing of industry news, SEO trends and innovative new tools • Analyze Kinship brands’ website data and performance to identify areas of improvement • Support efforts to acquire high-quality backlinks • Work cross functionally with marketing peers to ensure SEO strategies are aligned with overall business goals • Prepares findings from agency analyses to internal stakeholders by telling the story within the data in a digestible format for the audience

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience at a content site (or brand that has a content platform/blog) • CMS experience (preferably Contentful) preferred • Strong foundation on SEO best practices, keyword research, and how to evaluate SERPs to determine what content to produce • Excellent writing, editing and project management skills • Self-starter who can prioritize, multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Creative thinker who can ideate SEO optimizations to drive search traffic
