Software Engineer, Growth

Job Description

• Meet with other members of the Lifecycle engineering team to define the scope and scale of software projects • Design and implement scalable applications, web services, and APIs • Develop and maintain internal software tools • Write technical documents • Troubleshoot and fix bugs • Identify bottlenecks and improve software efficiency • Collaborate with product and design teams to develop user interfaces • Develop solutions that are mindful of the user experience • Critically think about foundational areas of the Vercel application • Review and provide feedback on contributions from other members of the engineering team

Qualifications

• You have 5+ years of experience in full stack development • You have spent time developing, automating, maintaining, and reviewing frontend and backend code • Advanced experience with application development and architecture and are an accomplished programmer • Understanding of the domain or industry for which the domains are being created • You have experience collaborating with product and design contributors to achieve a common goal • You want to work with your colleagues to iterate on your proposals and implementation details • Experience with Next.js and the Vercel platform is a plus
