Job Description

• Design, implement, and test services and APIs with the support of your squad including product managers and quality engineers • Deliver new functionality through our continuous delivery pipeline • Make data based decisions to continuously improve the availability, performance, and maintainability of our services • Communicate our plans, architectural decisions, features, and processes through documentation and demonstrations • Mentor and coach other engineers through pairing, design & code reviews • Provide cross-squad direction and consistently influence decision-making in the API implementation

Qualifications

• Significant professional Java experience • Experience building or integrating with REST APIs • Experience with SQL queries and stored procedures • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining microservices • Experience in technical leadership in cross-functional teams and guiding the technical direction of projects
