Strategic Finance Associate

Job Description

• As a Strategic Finance Associate, you will have the unique opportunity to support Headway’s rapid growth and most important decisions with analytical insight and strategic recommendations. • This high impact, highly visible role sits on the Strategic Finance team, which plays a critical role in shaping our long-term business strategy and execution • Partner with Payer Business Development team to drive the success of Headway’s Payer commercial efforts • Build financial forecasts and targets, track performance, and understand deviations from actuals to drive strategy and operational rigor • Gain deep knowledge and understanding of Headway’s business performance across Payer partners and markets • Work cross functionally to identify important strategy questions and answer them with data • Define metrics and leading indicators of business performance and partner with the Data team to develop tools and dashboards to make these metrics widely accessible across Headway • Support competitive benchmarking efforts

Qualifications

• You have 3-4 years of professional experience, ideally in a mix of financial services (Investment Banking / Private Equity) and highly analytical roles at a fast-growing company (Strategic Finance / Strategy & Ops / BizOps) • You are intellectually curious and seek to understand the why behind the numbers • You value precision and accuracy when it comes to your work, and you can rapidly dissect complex quantitative problems • You have exceptional analytical skills, including advanced Excel/google sheets skills, with a proven ability to digest large amounts of data and hone into the most important details • You’re energized by joining a high-growth company and making immediate impact in a dynamic environment • You are motivated by the opportunity to make an impact on one of our generation’s defining problems – making quality mental healthcare both accessible and affordable
