BI Data Architect

Job Description

• The Business Intelligence Data Architect will define and implement the roadmap for enhancing and maintaining the data within the Data Platform. • They will prioritize and facilitate development of data products and tooling for internal customers who need data for analytics in various departments including product, analytics, engineering, sales, marketing, and finance. • The role involves defining ELT/ETL requirements and source to target mappings. • Definition, implementation, and maintenance of a data quality program are also key responsibilities. • Creating and maintaining documentation including business glossary, data dictionary, data catalog, and data lineage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data product management, data engineering, data architecture, analytics, and/or developing data & analytics products. • Experience managing or contributing to an enterprise data strategy that yields high-quality and robust data to support actionable insights and business decision making. • Experience with Data Modeling for BI & Analytics. • Demonstrated history of solving complex problems involving data and technology. • Experience working with product and engineering teams using an agile framework to prioritize scope, and acquire & integrate new data sources. • Experience working with streaming data for analytics is a plus. • Advanced SQL skills; Databricks experience a plus. • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, etc.
