Director of Software Product Management, Insurance Operations
Job Location: Remote
Job Description
• This role will lead our software product vision, strategy, and roadmap in delivering world-class experiences and operational excellence across multiple product areas that are at the heart of what we do. • Crafting a vision, strategy, and roadmap for our internal tooling ecosystem, that are in line with our company goals • Be a visible and passionate champion for great products that will enable SageSure to reach its goal of being most admired • Defining and implementing enhancements to our Product Practice, focusing on how the team consistently engages stakeholders and users to build compelling products • Leveraging quantitative and qualitative analysis methods in decision-making, from prioritizing what to build to tracking impact on business outcomes • Championing teams’ health including collaboration, trust, velocity, values, delivery quality, and more • Encouraging a safe and high performing space through constructive and positive feedback loops • Responsible for working cross-functionally with multiple departments and leaders and promotes cross-functional collaboration within their team to help build trust and relationships across the company • Regularly assesses talent to build a high-performing team • Encourages a growth mindset for the team by proactively coaching team members and ensuring the team continually feels challenged and invested in • Proactively interacting with team members, partners, peers, and employees in person—in offsites & office visits—to help elevate in-person engagement • Proactively visits other offices and geographies to connect with their teams • Ensuring the SageSure product efforts are not overly insular by implementing a sustained program of learning from best practices from other firms • Continuously researches and stays on top of market trends, competitive analyses, and opportunities
Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in product management or relevant work experience • Excellent analytic aptitude • Must be able to assess and address complex business problems and develop and implement solutions to meet market opportunities • Ability to work in a collaborative fashion or independently, a true coach-player mentality • Strong written communication and oral communication skills and a professional demeanor • Strong ability to communicate on a business and technical level
