Compliance Test Engineer

Job Description

• Opportunity to have a direct impact in an exciting energy technology startup • Work closely with product development teams to guide designs for safety and compliance standards • Build test equipment and perform safety and compliance tests • Drive product certifications leading up to product launch • Assist in coordination with NRTLs and performing tests • Write test reports

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (or similar) required • 2+ years experience performing compliance or safety testing on batteries, inverters, or related product, or 1 or more internships in a related field • Hands-on aptitude with power supplies, hand tools, and dangerous equipment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
