Staff Electrical Systems Reliability Engineer

Job Description

• Lead the Design for Reliability function in Form’s CA location focused on the product enclosure and system • Design, execute, and analyze experiments to evaluate failure mechanisms • Serve as subject matter expert on design for reliability best practices • Partner with design owners to translate high level product requirements into functional reliability and lifetime requirements • Champion for safety in the development of new laboratory processes and product designs

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience working with product development, failure analysis, and hardware reliability • 2+ years of experience directly managing or leading small technical teams • Academic degree in reliability engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or a related field • Experience working with and strong fundamental understanding of electrical components and systems • Proven experience developing reliability test plans and data analysis packages • Experience automating controls and specifying and operating electrical equipment • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills • Electronics or power system design experience is a plus • Experience with Reliability software is a plus
